I could barely type "dripping chunks of sweet, sweet lard." without gagging, Chryso. Is your name almost spelled like "Crisco" on purpose?

Hmm…if the furniture were (way) more expensive and the book choices were even more unoriginal, i'd say PW was a modern day Patrick Bateman. Are you also ridiculously handsome PW, cause there's no way I could resist your psychotic charm, and surely excellent taste in Top 40 jams!

Wow, tomwaits, that was beautiful. As much as I love the idea of seeing the charred, ebolaids-ridden carcass of Larry the Cable Guy getting shit on by real comedians, yours is also the perfect compliment to this cruddy New England weather.

Shit, I totally forgot about the Corner. Was the Wire a spin off of that show? Say what you want about crack, it's television gold. Or HBO gold.

what the heck does "Africa hot," mean?

I wrote a paper about this movie and went to a coffee shop to and re-watch it to take notes. Big mistake. At the moment Tom's neighbor is crying in a heap on his dusty, now bank-owned land, I started crying and had to shut my computer.

I can't wait to reach the level of cool where I am so dedicated to my alcoholism that i ignore all the other parts of the food pyramid except the bottom one.

As far as I know, "raising his daughter" includes feeding her, which entails making money which he does by making albums, shitty or not.

The "Sebastian" episode was the one i saw and I couldn't believe what an asshole he was to his girlfriend and her family, who were the ones bankrolling his vanity project. His ridiculousness wasn't funny so much as it was annoying. Along with the atrocious music, he made it easy for me to dismiss the show entirely.

If you had called yourself Tom Bosley, I would have taken your advice.

nathan, you can make me love anything
I've been rather dismissive of country music, which I know is ignorant but the genre is so big and not something I come in contact with regularly, so i'm eager to read this series and give country music a honest try.

to round out tracy's oriental phase, my vote is for Samurai I am Awry.

gah, there is soooo much noisy filler in the american version. Not only is the theme music annoying but the recaps before AND after commercial breaks are redundant as hell. I've seen one episode and then I rewatched a UK episode right after to wash my brain out.

and is addicted to amphetamines? How else does he churn out one hacky film after another?

oh, marcel
When the surprise helpers are revealed, it warmed my cold heart that Marcel had not de-douchefied one bit. Did you see those purple glasses?!

you hit the nail on the head dwide. Even when the guest stars aren't playing themselves, the writers find hilarious, over-the-top ways to reference their fame or the reasons they are famous. In the same way that everyone overtly comments on salma's bodacious bod, splicing Seinfeld's face into regularly scheduled

saw this movie with no expectations
My friend and I went to blockbuster, and each chose a movie. I had never even heard about the real events of the case, and was equally surprised to hear that it was directed by Jackson. Basically, I didn't know what to think about this movie when it started, the opening sequence
