My favorite part is Herbstreit's suspicious look for the first 10 seconds.

Absolutely loved this show, watched it every weekday afternoon when I came home from school.  If I recall, it came on at 4 or 5 pm, right after I got done watching "Wishbone, the Amazing Literature Dog."  Or whatever it was called.  Point is, AYAOTD? was great children's "horror."  Never watched the 1999-2000 episodes…

I don't understand the obsession people have with "staying true to the novel," as though that automatically will make something better, when in actuality, sometimes, as in the case with Last of the Mohicans, the novel is terrible and doesn't deserve to be "followed closely."
