Way, way, way too young. Alec Guiness was like 65 when he took the role.

@Humbusher - Nope. Jeff Bridges and Joan Allen were nominated but not Oldman. IMDb people, use it.
Oldman
This will be Gary Oldman's (long overdue) first Oscar nom. Bet on it.
Two Requests
Congrats on the promotions guys, but I have a couple requests:
Yeah I.M. Sirius, Juan the Owl and I want to know what you think he said.
@arxcjo - I'm not suggesting that Liverpool/Utd is a lazier reference. My point was that using West Ham/Wolves is a fairly random choice, one that would only have been made by someone with an actual knowledge of football, whereas if the writer only had a cursory knowledge they would use the two most famous clubs, Utd…
McHale
Everything about this guy screams "douche", I really should despise him. But I'll be damned if I don't just love the snarky bastard.
Oscar has been out for four years, Michael would definitely have told Packer in that time.
Has to be…
Jefferson Airplace - White Rabbit.
NOBODY LIKES TWO DIFFERENT KINDS OF EGGS EQUALLY!
I loved the West Ham/Wolves line. Someone on the writing staff must be a soccer fan because that's a fairly random pair to pick (a lesser show would've used Man Utd and Liverpool).
I'd throw Costume Contest and China in there as examples of good season seven eps.
Also watch "Hunting Trip" while you're at it. Solid gold.
Fuck Watson, he thinks Toronto is in the US. Ha ha, you'll have to work harder than that Skynet!
Whilst it's true they probably made the movie story up on the fly, they could have easily written the episode so that Holly was fully aware of the movie. It would have only taken a line about Michael not wanting to show it to her until it's finished, then nothing else in the episode would need to change.
Shit! We better call Amelie Gillette and let her know. Or, better yet, lets find some way to contact fictional character Pamela Halpert and inform her of her rookie mistake.
Where's Ronin Gibbons*?
Just thinking of this makes me laugh:
Initially they trashed his old computer so they could get a new one, then they scuffed up the new one so they could pass it off as old.
As someone who loves Andy and finds him to be a very sympathetic character I loved that he and Pam bonded over their scam. It wasn't exactly a thrilling plot but I thought both Helms and Fischer played it perfectly.
