I've heard that some people just assumed MTM was what happened after Laurie Petrie left Rob - and anyone who thought that was understandably pissed off beyond all hell.
This was the funnest summer of my life up to that point - turned 21 in June, celebrated about 15 other 21st bdays in a three month span, applied for and was hired as an intern (the company even flew little old me down for an interview … which made me hot shit at the time), celebrated some other cool…

@ Tim Leider - that's a great point. Remember that she even said "people who do anonymous drawings are really brave" or something like that (sarcastically, obviously) later in the episode, but like you mentioned, she used the "people are complaining" line when she was alone with Don/Ken/Peggy/etc.
I think that was part of what made this ep different. I definitely noticed it.
