He's a regular on 90210. And actually one of the better actors on that thing.

That Liz Phair Joke
That Liz Phair joke about her writing a theme song for a Dawson's Creek revival is particularly great because she wrote the actual theme song for the CW's 90210 revival.

She's also the only character I can think of who has stated that it was her idea and hers alone to go to fat camp. Like Todd said, she just has some bad self-image issues.

I'll chime in and say that I'm also completely in love with Poppy. That cute, little lisp? Please. And she's also slowly being developed into one of the more fascinating characters on a show which seems increasingly packed with them.

I will watch these two episodes tonight and see how I feel about it. I generally trust Adam McKay though. And Chris Parnell is watchable in anything. Sounds pretty solid.

I'm Very Happy About This
I was one of the "comedy writers" mourning the loss of this great show and I'm really happy it's coming back. That Ricky Gervais Show/Life and Times of Tim comedy hour this past Spring on HBO was absolutely wonderful.

11. Will's Wife on Glee
12. Christina Applegate on Friends (never liked her when she appeared)
13. Molly on Felicity
14. Jack on Dawson's Creek
15. Anne Heche on Hung (And let's throw in Lenore while we're at it)
16. Skyler on Breaking Bad (sometimes)
17. Angela on Bones
18. Bill's Parents on Big Love
19. Starbuck's eventual

20 More
1. Duncan Kane on Veronica Mars (So boring)
2. Bill on True Blood
3. The super annoying reporter and his girlfriend on Persons Unknown (completely grinds the show to a halt every time they're on screen)
4. Luke in Season 1 of the OC
5. Marissa by Season 3 of the OC
6. Meg on Family Guy (Any Meg-centric episode is

Since Josh Schwartz Is Involved In This….
How about Ben McKenzie as Cyclops? He's proven to be a pretty solid actor over on Southland. I think he could pull off playing that drip quite well.

Time Out New York
Time Out New York and The AV Club are by far my two most trusted outlets for film reviews. Step Up 3D just got 4 stars out of 5 in TONY and I was beginning to think I was losing my mind and that I actually might have to Netflix this shit or something.

I Hope He Makes The Boys
It's such a frustrating comic. So many good ideas muddled by such dumb humor. Adam McKay, being hilarious, would be able to massage that stuff into hilarity. Could be one of the great superhero movies and a hilarious comedy at the same time.

The thing is, Burton makes movies now that, while not great, are definitely watchable. Weezer just makes ridiculous shit now.

Heisler
I don't know why I doubted you, but I thought I'd never get to hear you rip on Heroes again. And now I'm gonna go re-read years of your hilarious vitriol. A perfect way to end my night.

Bones is a kind of fun show. It's the only crime procedural I've kept up with. Boreanaz and Deschanel are excellent together and sometimes the writing rises above the genre. That Avatar episode? Not one of those times. I predict the Jersey Shore episode will be even more awful than that as well. But the Zack serial

Eh. It's stylized dialogue. Sometimes it's cute and sometimes it seems forced. Just like every writer of stylized dialogue ever, from Mamet to Sorkin. Juno was fine, Jennifer's Body was a hoot and I really like the United States of Tara. She ain't so bad.

One time, on a second date, this girl made me watch a Ron White comedy special with her. We never went on a third date.

I Hate Native American Episodes
It sometimes seems as though every TV show at some point has to bust out some Native American mysticism. There's always gotta be a damn vision quest. It's happened on shows as diverse as The X-Files, Wonderfalls, Bones, Family Guy and many many more that I can't think of right now. I

I Don't Give A Shit How Noisy It Is
Hey everybody! He finally figured out how to write fully formed, memorable songs. Great album. I'd even go A-. "Post Acid," "Linus Spacehead," "Take On The World," "Super Soaker." These are great songs. Throughout.

They're never gonna top Funeral. I've accepted that. But this is a really really great album, the best of the year so far.

Because Let's Go To Prison was not funny. And neither were The Brothers Solomon or Blades of Glory. Maybe that new show Running Wilde will be good though? TV is right for that guy.
