Always loved that bit, too. On the one hand it's hilarious how pompous and melodramatic he sounds, but on the other, well, he's telling the complete truth.
But from the video it seems like the dialogue and the animation are directly related. That's the key difference. The other is man-on-the-street interviews vs mumblecore dialogue.

Nah, they're completely different. I'm not a Fan of the Duplasses (or Dupli?) or anything, but Creature Comforts had people being interviewed at a zoo about the zoo/animals and then put that audio over animation of animals. This is just your run of the mill scripted/ad libbed cartoon.

A New Hope's original screenplay was a Hidden Fortress remake. What made it to the screen, while having plenty of similarities, is so far removed in plot that it makes me wonder if the people who always claim this have actually seen either movie.
