I'll one-up you on the arrogance and ask "What about Robert Wyatt or Charles Hayward?"

I cannot express how excited I am to be seeing this film on Saturday. I even scheduled a cross-country trip to coincide with the screening. If I don't manage to get my picture taken with Tommy, I'm going to trash my hotel room, throw a TV out the window, grind my genitals on a dress, and suck on a gun barrel.

See, that's what I don't understand. If the Warrens are now discredited even in the believer community, why hasn't that cast serious doubt over whether anything actually happened at all? Carmen Snedeker is now teamed up with the Warrens' nephew, so apparently she's cool with their investigation techniques and findings.

Hey, they did riffs for The Room, Birdemic and Troll 2, so there's still hope.

@avclub-1343022fc4003e2cf16f0368302d86e8:disqus You misunderstand what I'm saying. I'm saying the Amityville haunting was a hoax. And the Haunting In Connecticut case, a seriously mentally ill son and a delusional mother. Not surprisingly, both cases where "investigated" and championed to the public by Ed and Lorraine

I'm just glad that we now have an actual version of The Ocean Walker.

Wait, how can a a movie fictionalize a book that was already fiction in the first place? The whole thing is based on a hoax.

So a friend-of-a-friend is an actor in The Room. From what he says he learned on the set, Tommy is Serbian and that he personally worked for Milosevic during the Bosnian war. After the war, he moved to France and changed his name before coming to America. If true, it makes sense that Tommy wouldn't exactly want to

We DO know one way or another. We know what foods animals can't digest or metabolize. Christ, do you actually believe that all animals can live on the same diet? Did you ever here of the word "physiology"? Or the term "obligate carnivore"?
Tell you what, since it's obvious that you skipped out on your science classes,

@avclub-855069bb71cd6f6a49cbbd27f89605e3:disqus Hey, you're the one claiming that animals wouldn't eat other animals if they knew better. It's not angels on the head of a pin, it's fundamental biology. You can't just call something a moot point if pesky things like "facts" and "science" don't line up with your claims.

You do realize that virtually all carnivorous animals cannot survive on vegetables, right? Even if they "knew better" they'd still die without meat. I'm sure it must hurt your delicate sensibilities, but sometimes simple biology trumps morality.

I visit a lot forums on vintage guitar effects and amps, and he pops up as a commenter fairly often. He owns a few of Sleep's old amps and more original fuzz boxes than I could ever dream of having. With that gear, he's bound to sound interesting.

Huh, you described my bedroom almost perfectly. Just substitute "kid" with "bitter, defeated 30-something."

He also has a picture of Eva Braun on his wall. That's a pretty big sign that he may have some pro-Third Reich leanings…

He was also selling bass guitars made from the Hacienda's floorboards.
I'm going to go ahead and admit I wanted one.

Meh, Hobo With A Shotgun was a Troma movie for people who have never heard of Troma movies.

Cool Story Bro time: About 6 or 7 years ago when I lived in Chicago I was browsing in Reckless Records and they had a bunch of those entirely forgettable 70s albums by Walker. I had heard they were bad, but I was still curious. Luckily for me, Chris Connelly was working behind the counter that day so I was able to ask
