@glen tennis, big e: Look out for Steel Panther then. They're trying the (semi-)ironic hair metal pose. I think they're terrible.
word. i don't think anyone would go down swinging for the Clerks TV show.
AD did it BETTER.
THE PRICE IS WRONG, BITCH!
Incidentally, I also broke out the blue 311 album about the same time as Sublime's self-titled. Shudder. My sister loves them, and I went to see them with her in the late 90s. The only concert I've ever been accosted by security at. (Seriously, like five of 'em or something.)
Reg/Unreg… I'M the guy with the gun.
I like when people slag off "hipsters" here. 90% of people probably think YOU'RE hipsters for even KNOWING these bands.
It's funny how people are pulling the ol' "I liked 'em before blahblahblah" with AEROSMITH, like you might with punk or indie bands.
And here I was thinking I was lacking for reading only 10-15 last year.
This is bizarre, because I actually broke out the self-titled album (via Spotify anyway) the other day, and really enjoyed it. Though I can see what people are saying - about getting high with HS friends or equating it with bad party scenes - I think the album's actually good.
There's some misses on the album, but I'd…
I think The Bronx have had three self-titled LPs as well. Don't know if they all have the same cover though…

The crappiest night of my life at my third-shift job, finally sit down to the good, reliable ol' AV club and it's a Pet Shop Boys article. Sigh.

I would actually like to see that movie, possibly regardless of how bad it is.
I don't like Animal Collective
So Veckatimest will probably take the top spot for me this year.
Q:
How many fuzz-rock-pop bands will get critical acclaim this year? Seems like every other week one is getting lavished with praise.
Damn yo. Sounds pretty bad.
Reinforcing the firstie are we, Mr Oates?
I've really
Got to go back and watch "bogus journey". It always sounds too good to be true.
