"Bill Burr making a reference to Babylon 5 is the intersection of fuckin awesome."
Yeah, that really bugged me as well. As someone who hasn't touched a gun in his whole life, Walt's gun handling looked way too competent in that scene to me.
Gliding Over All.
Kinda disappointed they just dumped Gomey's involvement in this on us. We didn't get to see Hank telling him about the whole situation. We also don't get any indication of what Gomey thinks about the whole "my boss's brother-in-law is a meth kingpin" situation. Hopefully they'll elaborate on that in the future.
@avclub-945ba977c27d196cdeaf6cbe4ff682f4:disqus I actually like that about Justin. He seems like a real nut. I imagine he was some crazy homeless person on Earth, ranting at everyone who would listen before the Shadows picked him up. Presumably because his philosophy already matched theirs.

@avclub-04d524031f29c89d78cae864bd6f0de7:disqus Though, like Garabaldi I'm sure he had his "special" tea.
You should also have a word with the city planning department about their questionable placement of large skylights. Yes I know natural lighting has been all the rage these past millennia but there are drawbacks to having large fragile transparent windows over our secret evil underground cities.
The best thing about that is that when the Galactica jumps out of the atmosphere it leaves a vacuum in it's place, which is then rapidly filled by the surrounding air, causing a great deal of wind on the ground. It was neat that they thought of that little detail.
Farscape had space battles? The only example I can think of is the opening of PKW, is that what you were referring to? I can't think of any other examples.
Agreed. In fact the battle in Shadow Dancing might be the best example of this in B5. When the White Star first moves off to join the battle we can see it in the distance and it seems to occupy a roughly spherical area. There's also a couple of neat shots of Shadow ships being attacked from above/below.
Also, those Narns were crowding around Refa like crazy. G'Kar might've had trouble squeezing in.
It's unfortunate because the actor they got for Justin is great. He gives a very good "there's something not quite right with this guy" vibe, as if the guy might explode with rage at any moment.
@avclub-04d524031f29c89d78cae864bd6f0de7:disqus Fucking hell, why didn't I pick up on that before?
Seconding the recommendation of later DS9. Not so much in terms of tactics, but just for giant clusterfucks of action happening on screen. There is some unfortunate shot re-use as the series goes on though. Also the CGI is very obviously budget limited, which among other things results in almost all ships being…
CC's delivery of that line has such a great, disinterested, ticking-the-boxes quality.
To be read in Londo's accent.
Hell, Sheridan could have had a weapon hidden in his mullet! That thing was growing exponentially late in season 3.
Oh God, weren't "The Hand" the Shadow replacement villains in one of the godforsaken later B5 spinoffs? IT ALL MAKES SENSE!!!!
