It tickles me that you and Rowan have both now referred to "human actors". As if Andreas Katsulas or Mira Furlan weren't human.

After reading this review, and with next weeks events in mind, it occurred to me that Justin might have been intended to be a bigger deal than he ended up being. Or at least it feels that way to me. Sheridan's "opposite number" was an important part of Kosh's dream, an element that Kosh felt was important enough to…
I, too, am greatly anticipating the return of the DS9 reviews.
Thankyou! I really hope @avclub-9b60cf1b2106f886f17cba2b1a0359b9:disqus gets fired for that blunder.
Two things:
I love that she's non-specific about who will get parasites from the other, Homer or the monkeys.
What a glorious backhand against his work on Star Trek.
No, I'm certain everyone else missed it.
"James Gandolfini's alcoholism"
So what you're saying is that Foundationists are the descendants of todays hipsters? That sounds about right.
I think we could easily have stood to have missed a few more bits. I know I always fast-forward through Franklins walkabout scenes when I re-watch B5.
In an attempt to persuade you otherwise I will only say (assuming that you're unspoiled) that right now is possibly the worst time to bail out on B5 in the entire run of the show. The forthcoming 8 or 9 episodes are one of the best runs in the show. Maybe give it to the end of season 3 (so, 3 more episodes)?

YES! Glad someone else was as annoyed by this as me. Why the hell do all the vamps simply assume the Warlow blood will last forever? Why the hell does Eric? Especially since Eric personally experienced the limited usefulness of fairy blood in the S3 finale.
During that whole scene I couldn't stop thinking about The Human Centipede. FEED HER!!
So, throughout this season I've seen a few people saying that they consider it to be better than season 5. Does anyone still hold that view? I myself would say that season 5 is better than season 6. I enjoyed all the Authority stuff in S5 while the central plot of S6, the vampire prison, was really half-baked and I'll…
My best guess is a combination of b and c. Not that the government ceased to exist, but that with roaming hordes of zombinfected vampires threatening people that public confidence in the government had dropped sharply and widescale civil unrest was coming soon.
I think asking "was it necessary" is really besides the point, both for this and anything else. The important questions are "is it good?" and "does it add to the original work?" and "does it retroactively harm the original work?". For FWWM the answers to these are (IMO) "yes", "yes" and "no". FWWM doesn't cheapen any…
@avclub-f62296b9393b6ab9229ebde91ed8469f:disqus Actually, due to the timey-wimey nature of the lodges I've always thought that Mike telling the truth in the series about his good intentions. You could view the last lodge scene in FWWM as being the last time that Mike/The Little Man acted as a complete entity, if you…
Yeah, if you're talking about one Lynch movie to expunge then Dune is the obvious choice. I still like it quite a bit though.
