I also found it odd that Matt thought that FWWM lessened the mystery of Twin Peaks.

Where has Dawkins been abrasive? The only thing that rubs me the wrong way about Dawkins is the preaching-to-the-choir'ness of some of his presentations. But I don't remember him ever saying anything offensive or abrasive.
It was a struggle for me to get through early season 1 as well. BB doesn't really pick up until late in season 1.
So, like in The Omega Man? Or The Quiet Earth?
I REALLY want to believe that that flub on Badger's part was intentional by the writers. They got so many other Trek tropes dead on.
One thing I just remembered: In the opening when Walt first arrives at his house there's an airplane visible overhead. Not something out of the ordinary but an obvious callback to S2.
The best thing they could do with the ricin is have it end up not being used. Anything else would be disappointing.
THIS NEEDS MORE LIKES!! MAKE MORE DUMMY ACCOUNTS!!!
I can't believe they bought up the "transporters kill you and make a copy" argument. That argument's been going on in various sci-fi circles for years. This might be the most impressively geekish thing the show has done.
Yeah, it took me 2 tries to get into BB. Most of the first season is a bit slow and not that representative of how the show will be later on. I still think it's necessary to watch from the beginning though, and S1 is only 7 episodes long anyway.
Yes I'm sure that will hold up in a court of law. After all, there's no such concept as negligent homicide, is there?
"I'll see YOU on the 112th page of the Breaking Bad comments section!"
So, err, you didn't like the Angel S5 finale? I myself thought a lot of it came out of the blue.

"At this point, would any step towards some kind of redemption just be creatively dishonest based on all that has taken place before it?"
I can't think of a plausible way for Jesse to find out about Walt's involvement in Jane's death. The only one who might have even suspected his involvement is Mike, who's dead now. No, the only way he finds out is if Walt tells him.
@avclub-1bfb50f8428a734a72e2ace7d8b3166e:disqus Err, I'm pretty sure "cold blood" means that the other party isn't armed.
Yeah, Grey 17 is nowhere near as bad as it's reputation, and certainly not the worst B5 episode. The Marcus/Neroon stuff is great and the Garabaldi/Freddy stuff isn't all that bad.
This is not of any great consequence, but somewhere along the line I got the firm impression that B4 is supposed to be significantly larger than B5, like it has 2 or 3 times the internal volume or something. Don't know where I got this from, but I think the idea is that B4 was the last time anyone spent a lot of money…
Err, if this is your first time I'd hold off on ITB until after "Atonement" in S4 at the earliest. I've not tried this, but I think it might make a good companion piece to the S4 finale, "Deconstruction of Falling Stars".
Eh, people seemed to forget about those pretty quickly.
