Well, thank God he was OTT, because so much about the LOTR series was sanctimonious and dull.  It needed an injection of theatricality.  Denethor is one of the few characters that people actually remember.

Science Channel LOVES Fringe.  They have taped a whole bunch of "Fringe Science" segments with that Michio Kaku guy and I hear they will be marathoning the shit out of the series over the holidays.

C'mon!  They had to show his hair falling out.  Everyone's been expecting it and fans would have rioted over the inconsistency if they didn't at least demonstrate it once.

Thank you for reminding me of The Adjustment Bureau… and that no season 5 of Fringe, no matter how disappointing, could possibly be as bad as that movie was.

I commend you for your lofty analysis.  As for me, I just can't get over how amazingly HOT Joshua Jackson looks this season.
