I commend you for your lofty analysis. As for me, I just can't get over how amazingly HOT Joshua Jackson looks this season.

Ooh! What neighborhood do you live in?

Actually, if Walter hadn't gone to Nina again and asked to get the brain pieces removed, I would have rolled my eyes really hard, because THAT IS THE OBVIOUS SOLUTION to his problem. At least try to get the damn pieces removed first.

How could anyone say Nina is dull? I LOVE HER.

The guy who puts together the Fox promos posts a lot on Twitter. He put that music in there (it's Wagner) and was real excited about his "experiment." Personally I think it didn't work, but… who am I to criticize someone who only gets 30 seconds to be creative?

This is true. But, it's also a good thing the show didn't start out that way, because it had a chance to build a big enough audience for Fox not to abandon it. Look at Last Resort — just cancelled. They went full tilt boogie right out of the gate, and never built an audience.

The number apparently originated as a reference to the final airdate of Season 2: May 20, 2010.

John Noble is a delight and a joy and a balm for the soul. I hate that people who haven't watched the show (or haven't watched it much) assume he's just doing a mad scientist/crazy act. He is one of my favorite actors ever. I would go to any movie just to see him in the smallest of roles.

Olivia is basically nothing without cortexiphan in her storyline, I'm afraid. She has been written into a corner: there's nothing for her to investigate, there's no mystery for her to uncover, there are no cortexiphan-related traumas for her to deal with any more. However, I think she will wind up being a mother…

Yes, the callbacks to "The Plateau" were there (although that episode was directed infinitely better by Brad Anderson), I was even expecting the traffic light to "click" the way it did in that episode.

Unless they pull some gigantic reveal re the Alt-U at the end of the season… it's easy to view Season 5 as being hermetically sealed off from the rest of the series, which lessens its impact, but also lessens any "damage" it might cause to the show's reputation…
