No way… the music for Fringe is much better.  Giacchino is a truly terrific film composer, but his Lost music actively turned me off the show, particularly his goopy "emotional scene" music.  (A few other non-action movies Giacchino has done, rubbed me the same wrong way.) Tilton is a very sophisticated, accomplished

Yeah, this was not as good as last week's, but last week's was very very good, so it's forgivable.  This episode was perfectly OK.  (In other words, it's better than "The Recordist")

I've watched this episode two more times, and I must say:  I find Peter's relationship with his dead daughter to be more compelling than his relationship with Olivia.

Peter's action in implanting the tech is slightly hubristic, in addition to being honestly an emotional/angry decision:  after all, he knows he is good with machines.  Very very good with machines.  He climbed into the Machine and was able to make it bridge universes, fer cryin out loud.  He knows machines.  Or maybe
