Absolutely, thanks for the perspective. As a fat guy whose had similar issues with his body (but obviously diminished, as women have it far worse for several reasons), I can understand the 'at war with your body' mindset. I don't know if we have enough information here to know if that's really what's going on, but

I don't know if that would help. Honestly, "I'm afraid you like me because you're sexually attracted to me" is such a weird complaint that it's impossible to even address. I agree with Dan in that it sounds like she's more uncomfortable with porn in general rather than this specific thing.

Turning them off seems to work fine, it's the next step I have problems with.

I don't know, it was unintentionally hilarious in parts. That's something, right?

Hasn't Parks and Rec already been picked up for another season after this one? Or have the actors just been contracted that long? In either case, it seems unlikely they'll jettison it now without an Office-esque "WATCH THE FINAL SEASON!!!!" year of promos.

You don't need a fancy degree to know that pregnancy is rare when your sperm is in the *ahem* bottom percentage of men.

Interesting. I'm a pretty big Gervais fan, and though I was pretty skeptical about this show, the fact that AV Club gave it a C (which is way, way fucking higher than I expected) makes me think I might find it entertaining, if saccharine.

Austin in general does, but unfortunately, it's hard to get the hipster/indie crowd to do anything if it's not free.

The audience in Austin was tense as fuck. All of them were there to see Chapelle, and their confusion over FotC was palpable. Pretty sure they were going to do an encore, but just decided to get the fuck out of there when 85% of the audience just stared blankly after the end of a song.

Probably have to get special managerial permission to unlock the A+'s.

@avclub-2ac233bc53744593f485e5752aaa692a:disqus I seem to remember one of the Wallace + Gromit movies had a Rue Goldberg contraption that transported bacon from the fridge to a grill each morning.

Yep, it's worth at least looking up those scenes.

Bob Odenkirk basically played Michael Scott in one of the season 9 episodes, and he was fantastic.

"I hate musicals"FUCK EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS GUY!…Sorry, the Internet got me for a minute. Uh … I … uh … strongly disagree with this man.

"basically every single person in Britain except for Smith, Moffat and Ball. Also, possibly Smith, Moffat or Ball."

I would say this is the main problem, yes. People are going to be passionate at what they do. When you're working at a crappy sketch comedy show, it might well feel like it's as important as tanks rolling into Pakistan, so occasionally, a rant is believable.

"the origin story of Smurfette (Katy Perry)"

As far as I'm concerned, every episode that doesn't feature Tara should get an A.

Who would have thought from his role in Season 1 that Parks and Rec would eventually be written around Chris Pratt's schedule?
