Second your Emmy nom, Lupin. She was amazing during her scene with Titus. I usually hate scenes with villains laying out "their perfectly plotted plan," but besides it being something that Lucretia would absolutely do just as a gloat, Lucy Lawless absolutely killed it. She was venomous, but never over the top. The way

In B&S, Lucretia never really falls for Crixus, she's just possessive and jealous. As we saw in this episode, she's very obsessed with power, and that plays heavily into her desire for Crixus. She's absolutely in charge and calling the shots with him. That's probably not as much the case with her husband.

I don't think it's hate, I think it's just frustration. There were so many interesting directions with Riley, but I think Marc Blucas' acting became an impediment to where they could take the character.

Yeah, I didn't know if I could be more bored by a character than I was by Riley, until Sam showed up. No wonder he forgot to mention her.

Fanny packs are apparently all over Fashion Week runways this year. But now they're called "belted satchels." Doesn't that name make them so much less ugly?

I'm with Bill, the photos seemed perfectly in character for Ron Swanson: "Boom. Sadness." Him taking the photo of Ben as as culmination was great.

Yahoo! owns it and is discontinuing it soon. Unless this episode revives it to its former glory and we all start alta vistaing Ben Wyatt.

A lot of his lines seemed Henry Pollardesque. "Should I call her? No, I'm not gonna call her. And that's good for me."

Schmitty.

This was a great use of Abed, as documentarian, and a great use of Pierce, as pushing the rest of the gang to see themselves more clearly. I'm glad because I like them both as characters and feel that they sometimes get put in smaller boxes than they deserve.

Her sour face, followed immediately by Pierce's, "Is that Death?!" and her "No, it's Britta." All brilliant.

The kid in the chair looks like he's hiding something.

Trying to remember Watcher in the Woods gives me that same fever dream feeling.

Fuller v. Del Toro
I like both guys, but based on previous work, I think Del Toro is more capable of genius when it comes to these kinds of stories.

Cabin in the Woods? Seriously, is it ever being released?

Parks & Rec?

It all sounds the same to me.

I'd watch that.

And in what world is Kenan Thompson bearable?
