So you're the one.
So you're the one.
New Adventures in Hi-Fi isn't the greatest album overall, but man are some of those songs good.
It has a lot to do with how cool the best man/MoH is, too, since they're the ones who plan it. I've only been to one. The best man's family had an enormous beach house, so we went to the beach, got some swimming in, some soccer, good meals, played some beer pong, and got drunk at trashy beach bars. It was a good time.…
Billy Corgan? Is that you?
Pearl Jam once stopped mid-set at a show I attended around the 4th of July because fireworks were going off near the venue and played "Rockin in the Free World". Really not the same at all, but just wanted to share that anecdote.
Uh, I think I know one of these people?
Williams (RIP) is a weird choice for this category, I think. He made some good-to-very good movies throughout his entire film career (alongside some very bad ones). None of the others have a filmography anywhere near as impressive as his.
…"allegedly".
Not my first time leaving this comment on an AVC thread, but…
Mark Kozelek (Sun Kil Moon) is featured in this movie, as is referenced in "Birds of Flims" from his most recent album. Apropos of nothing, just wanted to share that information.
That was my other candidate for possibly the worst one.
Yeah, that line about "You have to do it every single day, but it does get easier" very much nails what I've discovered about managing depression. As soon as you let yourself start sleeping til noon, or drinking to excess, or binge-watching TV on the couch all day, even once, you're starting to slip. If you do it a…
Hey, I do live in one of these places! Maybe the worst one…
This is how it used to work, but they've actually cracked down on this considerably. I'm sure some less-than-scrupulous organizations still do it this way, but I remember hearing a few years back that the IRS had issued new guidance making it clear that the tax write-off had to be something much closer to what the car…
Yeah, it's way better than, say, SVU, which is far more acceptable to watch for some reason.
Mynabirds are okay. Georgie James was better.
It's not my favorite, but it probably is the one that gave me the most laugh-out-loud moments. Bender's sassy remarks throughout slay me. I have the sense of humor of a 13 year old boy, though.
I feel like this is not a comment anyone who has actually listened to HEALTH would ever make.
GET COLOR is one of my favorite albums
I was hoping for a little Lie to Me action. One of my favorite procedurals, and killed off before its time. Great interview, though.
