My biggest problem with the flash mob was Cam's clunky explanation as to what it was. That was really horribly written and awkwardly delivered.

@ Lexicon — I also really disliked this movie when I was a kid. I was 8 or 9 when it came out and very excited for it, but man… I just disliked all of those kids and thought the plot was absurd. I'm always surprised at how fondly it seems to be remembered by people in my cohort.
I used to know that guy (Tristan), and he used to be the most Abercrombie & Fitch-iest dude-bro you'd ever meet. Funny how he's all "grizzled hipster" now…
That's pretty funny, Texecution.
Suspicion???
Hope they're dead ones…
SP vs. Pavement
I find it highly amusing that this article came out today, a day that also finds King Asshole Billy Corgan STILL bitching about Range Life/Pavement on his Twitter 16 years later…
@ Lexicon — There was a similar feeling in Champaign (IL) in the mid-90s too. There was a little listicle in Spin or something about "the next Seattle" that mentioned Champaign which led to lots of hype around town. Granted, there were a bunch of great bands around (Poster Children, Braid, Hum, Mother/Menthol, Suede…
You think likability of the main characters is only a concern for comedies?
Couldn't disagree more
Well, I guess that's not entirely true. I caught up with most of this season (up through ep 7 or 8) when I was a sick a week or two ago. It's marginally better than it was the last couple of seasons, but it's still not very good.
Thirded or fourthed or whatever.
Fox and Repeats
Fox shows "new" repeats a lot, and I've never really understood why. Do those re-broadcasts get good ratings or something? It's especially confusing in the case of The Simpsons. They literally have a choice of over 400 episodes they can air if they're showing a repeat Simpsons, so do they show a…
Whoa
Is that a photo from the 40th Anniversary Mr. Show reunion in 2035???
Kind of like how you don't let a budding, young Super Scientist start off with the King Crimson…
@ Flaubert — I got to see him in Spamalot when it first opened on Broadway. I couldn't really imagine anyone filling Graham's shoes as King Arthur, but he was fantastic.
They should get Larry David and the CYE players.
Jodie Foster
She's doing Swedish films now? Seems a bit like slumming if you ask me…
Germans can laugh??????????
Are any memes funny, UMD?
Slasher?
So I don't watch The Office regularly (like I used to), but I was wondering if this had/has any connection with the Scranton Strangler stuff that kept popping up last year (that was last season, no?). Or if they ever wrapped that "storyline" up or mentioned it again or referenced it in some way?
