Even The Scary Ones

Heyyyyy now, Sliders was solid. Or I'll at least defend the first season, and maybe one or two after. Basically as long as they could focus more on exploring alternate Earths and before I think everything turned into "now we gotta fight those technologically advanced cavemen." And also before most of the initial cast

Vic Berger's stuff is a joy to behold.

The one thing I know about this movie that stands out for me is that I seem to recall seeing a trailer for it the first time possibly as far back as late last year. Could've been just very early this year. Only odd to me as it seems like with a lot of movies of this level, I often seem to not see anything at all about

Technically, if they did a Sliders tie-in they'd need to use the guy that replaced O'Connell in the final season, as I don't recall if they ever officially fixed the whole "Quinn accidentally merged with the Quinn of the Earth they traveled to at that point to make Composite Quinn."

Unless the movie explains where the box came from or what gives it its powers (I'm guessing not, as these kinds of movies always seem to provide zero answers about such things), I'll just assume that it derives its wish granting magic from Jack Black and Elmo.

Because as we all know, things that are "best remembered" are also super awesome. Just like 9/11! And the Black Death. And the Inquisition. Etc.

He played Reverend Gene Purdy on The Dead Zone TV series.

I could probably see Al Ewing do well on ASM, as I've found a lot of his stuff to be fairly solid. Of course, he's also holding up several other Marvel titles at the moment as it is.

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that the show keeps making me feel like Madison is either doing things "sensibly" or just being a total asshole. I guess as a whole it all works. Or works for a Walking Dead-related thing. Whatever. All I know is we had Nick being fun and shooting a guy and digging up a

What's your stance on Richard Moll?

I've really liked Josie and the Pussycats, just because the stories tend to get super ridiculous fairly quickly. Unfortunately, it may or may not be cancelled now, along with Jughead, or at least on a hiatus of unknown length. I guess the same thing for Betty and Veronica.

I still need to check this and Afterlife out sometime. I ended up following all of the rebooted Archie stuff to date, sans Reggie and Me. Of course, they seem to be hiatus-ing/cancelling everything but Archie at the moment.

Skip the gunmill and just put the Tunnel Ladies in charge. I'm sure they'll be along in a bit! But then the gunmill, which was already completed, will rebel and kill them both, causing a revolt that results in Dale's ghost time travelling back to take charge.

I can understand Madison acting awful to keep things together, but I can't help but suspect that positioning Troy to be a leader is going to work out just SWELL.

Don't think they've actually gone that far yet, but since we have another movie on the way maybe sixth time's the charm!

I'd totally forgotten Christopher Lloyd was in it. Also Richard Biggs! But I feel like he was only in one episode.

The second one gave us the leggy ones, and the third gave us the leggy ones that also flew.

I feel like I disliked the original TV show, then grew to accept it by the time it ended, and then much later kind of developed a need to revisit it, which I still haven't. Also, I just saw Dean Norris was in all 13 episodes.

Crap. If small children aren't horses, I think I've made a horrible mistake at my glue factory.

Tonight was okay! Or okay via Background Noise Mode. I appreciated toothless zombie wife AND Mr. Exposed Brain. I also was alright with Daniel & Strand's Excellent Adventure continuation, although I guess my attempt at hypothesizing that Daniel/Strand would leave their locations mostly intact and Madison and the rest
