Even The Scary Ones

I remember when I first watched MDE and thought it was funny in that AS vein of "really weird shit that may or may not be drawing most of its humor from just being weird and surreal." And then I learned about all the Alt-Right shit! Yet I still find some of it funny and now can't tell if that's making me a piece of

Haven't read my copy yet, but sad to hear that Lumberjanes/GA suffers from that. It feels like almost every miniseries I've read in the past year has had the same issue. I'm sure I'll be fine with this one at least, as I suspect the biggest offender will remain the Gang of Harleys series for a while. That felt like it

Diamond's warehouse people almost had us wait until next week for this week's stuff after they briefly lost track of our books, but we finally got (most) everything yesterday. As such, still so much to read. WHY CAN I NOT SHORTEN MY PULL. GAWD. Ahem. Anyhoo.

He's got my vote! Or perhaps whatever force finally allowed me to actually properly log back into the comments section for the first time in about a week.

Donald Glover for a Friday the 13th Part IV: The Final Chapter remake. And then just have him dance to Lion whenever Jason isn't murdering the other characters.

Hey! An article here about a band that I actually know of! Mind you, I only know about them because of the Miami Vice episode where Tubbs ends up undercover in prison and they set the final bit of the episode to the entirety of In Dulce Decorum.

I just considered it a more or less solid thing that stands in its own little spot, even if it never has much impact in the future. That, and whatever led to Wesley Willis being made into one of her half-brothers.

I find Carol's initial response to the Kingdom amusing, just because it's a community that seems to have its shit together, and yet she just basically came from Alexandria where they seemingly survived for so long based entirely on dumb luck. But yay for Slightly Happier Carol! Now maybe she'll stop constantly feeling

I believe what Gunn meant was that he shot two cameos, and the third was when he assisted in transferring Stan Lee's soul into Tom Holland's body. Now he can live longer AND be Spider-Man!

It will now retroactively turn out that a superior version of his FF movie will be located in Al Capone's vault. Sadly, it will be damaged beyond saving due to the time travel required to get it there.

I think I often got him confused with John Savage. I'm not really sure. Much like how I seem to remember him from a specific role, but I think it's a mashup of vague memories of his X-Files episode, Millennium episode, L&O: Criminal Intent episode, and most likely also his Carnivale stuff.

Personally, I liked it. Well enough. It's still a smoother experience than FtWD, at any rate. Of course, this DIDN'T need to fucking go this way. Deaths in the finale would've probably worked better due to the not-dragging-shit-out aspect, but I said roughly the same thing in the finale comments, and it's not like I'm

I came here looking to check out the article on Kevin Meaney's death and then see this. What the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Fuck you 2016, again. Right in the annals.

This hasn't really been a bad miniseries, but I've felt a little meh so far. Same thing with the main series, although I'm dropping it in another issue or two. I think I let nostalgia get the better of me, but it's all been at the very least acceptable. Of course, I've noticed lately that a lot of miniseries I've read

I doubt I'm saying anything particularly new, but I feel like Marvel hasn't really gotten bad. Although reading up on sales of their latest relaunching initiative via one comic shop I randomly started following on Twitter some months ago makes it seem like they're on some kind of downward spiral. Which is sad, as they

He was Tom McQuade in Carnosaur 2! I'm sure that'll help identify him for SURE.

Oh, it happened. The Season 10 episode "Wildlife." Involved an animal smuggling ring run by the Djinn from the first two Wishmasters that Stabler had to infiltrate. Near the end of the episode, Cragen removes a smuggled monkey from a fake basketball. THE BEST. Although, either of us could still be having a stroke.

The real high point was the episode where Cragen held a monkey. Also from said episode, Big Boi from Outkast getting eaten by hyenas.

Yay! Good to see SOMETHING for Gotham. I haven't managed to watch anything beyond the first episode or two due to Time Warner being lousy about updating the on demand offerings, or whoever is ultimately responsible when that happens, but I felt sad to not have regular coverage for this anymore. I mean, the show is……..

Even more important, they're overlooking the end result of Poltergeist II. They'll be forced to hand their cars over to the very people they're fucking around with.
