Even The Scary Ones

I like that I somehow thought you meant the Chris Evans who is currently one of the hosts of Original Flavor Top Gear, even after finding it highly amusing in the past couple of months when an article about that Chris used a picture of Cap Chris Evans.

I saw this in a theater AND bought the DVD. I can at least say that I saw it initially out of curiosity, but why I bought it on DVD I have no idea.

I'm kind of wondering if the season doesn't end with half the town ending up doing horrible crap just thanks to Jesse trying to use his powers to help them. That'll be fun if it happens!

It feels a bit freaky to read about the (presumably) fairly recent arrival of Hannibal and then remind myself that I had been reading through most of the Doctor Who Classic reviews back then. TIME HAS PASSED.

To be fair, I'm less disappointed in the idea of it being a remake and more just quasi-disappointed that it's not specifically a remake of a Dario Argento movie that stars Tom Hanks, as that's a lot more amusing as a concept than another Dan Brown book movie.

I briefly thought this was going to be a remake of Dario Argento's Inferno. Now I'm disappointed. BOO. HISS.

Clearly, the answer to losing this coverage/comments section is to pick something to hijack for every new episode. WE CAN DO IT. *never does it out of laziness*

Edit in Brad Dourif for extra effect.

Well, I can potentially vouch for those of us who have managed to see many/all of her low budget horror/sci-fi/etc. movies over the past however many years! Not necessarily on purpose, mind you.

Yay! We got our first (presumed) Starr appearance. And a Grail mention if I recall. And I guess maybe an Allfather reference.

Better yet, let Konami sell at least the Silent Hill and Suikoden franchises off to companies that are capable of actually providing new entries, since they're too busy getting their pachinko on. Castlevania, too.

On the one hand, Warcraft could hypothetically yield enough material to make enjoyable movies. On the other hand, this movie feels like so much generic fantasy whatnot squished together. Which, admittedly, may describe a lot of early Warcraft lore, since it hadn't yet wandered across crazy interdimensional demon

So how long until this builds up into sounding like a totally awesome thing, only to suffer a Silent Hills-style death?

I find it amusing that if Touching Evil had actually survived and landed maybe 3ish seasons, and Burn Notice had still come around on schedule, we would've inevitably had a totally different Michael Westen.

I've heard that a loose adaptation of this story will also be featured in his upcoming free-to-play online multiplayer game World of Tranks. Coming this Tranksgiving! TRANKS.

I feel the need to randomly say that Paulo Costanzo is pretty awesome in the movie Splinter, and it was weird when Brooke D'Orsay joined the cast as I'd only previously known of her via voicing Caitlin Cooke on 6teen when I was going through a phase where I was oddly addicted to that show.

That's basically been my approach to it all. I watched a TON of USA in the past, thanks to all of the shows they used to have such as The Dead Zone, Monk, Psych, Burn Notice, White Collar, this one, and even some of the short-lived things like Touching Evil. Not to say they lack good original stuff now, but none of it

Except in a post-credits sequence I just imagined right now, ancient druids sacrificed Busta Rhymes's character in order to bring her back, so now she's alive again. Yes.

Because rebooting horror franchises and focusing on origin stories always works out SO WELL. Also, if they keep rebooting Friday the 13th, the entire franchise is going to run the risk of collapsing into itself and disappearing from existence. Also also, I really need to buy Friday the 13th: The Series on DVD

Alternately, A Murderer Is You!
