Amazingly, there's a gag band name from the newest Sam and Max games that's almost exactly the same as Eli Whitney and the Sound Machine. Except the one in the game was experimental jazz or something, as opposed to… post-ska?

I think this was the episode where I noticed Nelson & Murdock inhabit the former office of Van Lunt Real Estate Co.

Thank you! Secret of NIMH has always been my favorite children's animated movie.

It's worth noting that record companies usually hire a young guy who does genuinely care about music to meet with new talent. This person will give the band/artist all sorts of promises that he fully believes he can fulfill. And then the rug gets pulled out from under them when they see the actual contract.

I'm begging you though, if there's an artist you like, buy something from them. A CD,a t-shirt, a key chain, ANYTHING.

I say fie to all the people claiming trauma by this film. The original is by far my favorite children's animated movie. Probably the first movie to have a significant emotional impact on me.

Ehhhh, 'Careers in Science' is my vote for weakest VB episode. It still has it's moments, though.

Man, I was not a fan of any of the courtroom scenes. The reverend's deception of the court was never earned, and that might be an incredibly stupid criticism for a comedy such as this, but that sort of thing will always be aggravating to me.

And I'll never have that recipe again…
