I don't follow the logic.

They're not calling it RDR2, are they? I mean, Redemption was already a sequel to Revolver.

Gettin' a lot of mileage out of that quote.

But… Jack was competent and confident and commanded respect (or at least fear?)

Twin Peaks. Don't know what the hell I was waiting for.

Somebody offering an opposing viewpoint doesn't automatically mean they're worked up.

Also, the yellow lining of his hoodie as a nod to the Power Man costume.

Yep. Sometimes they do. Even those can be fun, though.

In the comic the entire town was incinerated at the church in the first few pages.

It seemed like a shitty exertion of authority for the sake of exerting authority. It's not like it the poster was displayed in the living room.

Fan theories are fun. Remove yon stick from thine posterior.

I think you might be thinking of his Pikachu. There was a whole episode of Ash agonizing over using a stone to evolve him into Raichu.

I'm pretty sure I remember the montage of photos Joker showed Gordon including some of him ripping Barbara's clothes off.

How many people were murdered in HP?

Long story short, it's hard to reconcile the character we've seen with the idea of him actually trying to murder someone. I'm actually betting that's just the story around town and it wasn't actually attempted murder.

I didn't even read the comics. Still think that was a weird choice for Eugene's backstory. I was expecting an accident or a suicide pact. Attempted murder makes him a much less sympathetic character.

People justify horrible things as being done in the name of god all the time.

100% sure Cassidy did not kill himself. That's why he gave Jesse a fire extinguisher. Although it was definitely a gamble on his part.

Didn't he tell some people to "Burn" in the comics and they just spontaneously combusted?

Yeah, I was expecting it to be an accident of some sort. Not actual attempted murder. That makes Eugene just a /bit/ less sympathetic.
