Jurassic Park 5: A Ken Loach film

The Last Seduction, like Dahl's Red Rock West, is just a fantastic piece of neo-noir, and Nunn is great in it. Although he leaves the film in a most undignified fashion.

I saw this back when it first aired, and everyone here is right: if it had aired on HBO or FX in 2014, it would have been a hit.

I misread the first two sentences and briefly thought that Jim Jarmusch was directing Episode VIII. Which is a movie that I would definitely watch.

I remember that documentary. It's been a while, but at the time I actually thought it was much creepier than the film itself.

I think of T1 and T2 much like Alien and Aliens—the first movie in each series is essentially a futuristic horror film, while the second is the platonic ideal of a true action movie. Each excels at what they do, but what they're doing is a little different, so to me it's a bit like comparing apples and oranges.

Sky Blue Sky left me cold when it was released (except for "Impossible Germany), and I haven't listened to it much since then, but perhaps it's due for a serious re-evaluation.
