Grownup crack?

Yup. Pinwheel was a giant block of Canadian stuff that Nick could get for cheap in the early days when they didn't have much money, or original content. It also has a Proustian ability to transport me back to summer days during grade school when I had nothing else to do.

Seriously. I give Sayles a lifetime pass for that one alone, to say nothing of all the others mbs mentioned.

Just don't forget to kill Hitler.

Lance Henriksen is a great actor, but I doubt he's ever turned down a role in his life.

If it helps, Sting is just as puzzled by it as you are:

SNAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEE!

I agree about Sally. I think the problem is that the Florida storyline in general seems a little underdeveloped at this point. So although Sally's a welcome addition to the cast, it's hard to see what purpose she serves, plot-wise.

The black angel did weep. R.I.P., Lou.

It's in the trees, it's coming!

Of course; the fact that he was nice to me in no way means he's not a dick in other ways. But it was so unusual in my experience—a lot of bands really, really don't like doing interviews, and even the ones who don't mind it are rarely so generous with their time.

FWIW, in my long-ago career as a music critic I had occasion to interview Bob, and he was one of the nicest, most forthcoming people I ever spoke to. We talked for over an hour—I actually ended the interview because I was afraid I was taking up too much of his time.

Seriously, I feel like I've spent the last year apologizing for my state to anyone who'll listen. We're trying to fix it, really!

Jesus, does the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier do anything other than crash all the time?

As far as I know, Sony has Spider-Man and Fox has X-Men, but Disney should have the rights to everything else, in which case, why *not* bring in some goofy but fun B- and C-list characters?

Yeah, it's almost painful how they had to tie themselves in knots to explain Scorch's powers without saying "mutant."

Yeah, I said a few weeks ago that SHIELD was definitely aiming for a younger audience, but then this week we get scientists being roasted alive and sexxxxxy hacker sex, so I'm not really sure what they're doing.

Or the guy who cleans up the Dreaming when Lord Morpheus is away?
