Went to see Sea and Cake open for Toro e Moi, then split. They played a great set.

A hardcore straight-edge vegan Fugazi musical would tickle my fancy no end.
One of my favorite bands. So so many indie bands don't do it for me. Not sure why these guys do, but I've given up trying to figure out why.
Cool. Also a new Antlers record in a mere two days!
Isn't every other Elliott Smith song about his bad step dad?
The comp 'The best of the IRS years' has it listed as 'So. Central Rain (I'm Sorry) Evidently there's some confusion.
(followed by Koka Kola, one of the best one-two hits in all of rockdom)
Death or Glory!
Tangerine my favorite Zep song. Followed closely by No Quarter. Maybe the best band ever.
This guy ain't fit to even talk about Billy Joel.
There was nothin on in his head when he wrote that one
One of my teen faves. Lots to enjoy; but Mony mony is soo bad (bad bad not good)
Not so. Many of his most rocking songs are album cuts (Man for all seasons, Dead on arrival, Do not stand in the shadows…)
There Will be Blood, No Country for Old Men, Inception (what a horrible mess that movie was), any of the Dark Knight movies (not sure why i watched the third one, given that I didn't like one and two.) Albums by artists that seem like they should be great, but really just grate: St Vincent, Arcade Fire, Animal…
I remember reading an interview where Frank Black said he was a fan. I've been meaning to give these guys another listening to.
I vote Stone Roses
If a woman was a huge the Sea and Cake fan - well, that would be pretty great.
I just really dislike their music. It doesn't go much deeper than that; except that maybe I can't understand why they are so popular. Commercials with twee indie pop touch the same nerve. If they weren't so pervasive it wouldn't bother me as much.
Okay I confess that boxing doesn't seem as bad to me, but yes, it still ranks up there.
Yes Friends makes my teeth itch
