I guess Helen and Nadia weren't all that, then. Penny wasn't on the island and she still made the earth move for Des, but the other two apparently didn't spark any memories in Locke or Sayid.

I get mad at the Carl's ads that call a cheeseburger with extra cheese a grilled cheese sandwich. WTF? I like Carl's, but their commercials make me not want to go there.
This season has me pretty down on the show, but I think this was the first episode I was impressed with. I'm surprised at the grade. Maybe my expectations have been lowered enough by the rest of the season, but I thoroughly enjoyed this ep so I'm happy.
Dexter
I have to skip through the opening credits of Dexter or I'll be hungry for breakfast. Mmmm… murder.
I went to the Texas Chili Parlor because of that movie and I didn't think until now to get the nachos. Damn it.
And Mad Men. I think I could go through a pack of cigarettes during a Mad Men episode. And some hard liquor.
I love how jaded everyone's gotten. They've gone from being afraid to tell people that they had a prisoner in the hatch back in S2 to "Oh, yeah, that new girl has Ben digging his own grave. Is someone gonna help me with this tarp?" Didn't faze one of them.
Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere yet, but the whole "can't kill yourself" thing would probably be why Dogen needed Jack to give the pill to Sayid. If Sayid took it on his own, his candidacy would prevent him from dying.
All the other women left alive are either crazy or Kate so, please God let Sun do something worthwhile.
Hmm… I like this. Esp. in relationship to Lone Audience's theory.
Wallace is Lapidus. End of story.
Same thing with the Hatch… Of course, they couldn't find the back door in all the time they were wandering about the jungle.
Hem - I was thinking about that, too. They at least brought Hurley though. Sayid wasn't supposed to come at all, and he was on the cave wall. And then Kate wasn't on the wall, but she was invited to Michael and Walt's farewell party.
So why did Kate flash off if her name wasn't on the wall?
I had a dream Un-Locke was fixing my car. He was a cool dude. If I see him again, I'll say howdy for you all.
I agree Green Mountain Boy. Here's my take on it: Smokey has been called a security system. I think Jacob's been keeping Smokey trapped in order to use his crazy killer smoke abilities to protect the island. Whoever takes over will have to keep Smokey doing his job - one that he really doesn't want to do.
@RichieAlpert I didn't think of that. So is some other force working with Smokie? Because there's no way someone against him would be all "follow whatever John Locke says" to Ben.
Anja - So glad to see someone else noticed that. I think he was definitely meant to be Walt.
I definitely saw the AD reference there. I wonder if it was purposeful?
Yeah, after the first paragraph of this review I started to wonder if this was reviewing the same film I saw. Maybe there was a strikingly similar film of the same title, but not as good?
