Let's all pretend that Bob Mould is a huge a7x fan and imagine him saying that line.

Hands up if you'd already forgotten that there was a 4th Rambo movie.

Yes. I am thankful for modern medicine.

MAD CLOWN

I found this out this morning when I went to see if I could order a new 160GB iPod classic to replace the one that's dying. The largest player they offer now "only" holds 64GB. This is a bummer.

Yup, Portland OR, on N. Mississippi Ave. for what it's worth.

A Tribe Called Quest - "Rhythm (Devoted to the Art of Moving…)"
Sonic Youth - "Voice Piece for Soprano" (17 seconds)
Ministry - "Fairly Unbalanced"
The Residents - "Loser = Weed"
Alice in Chains - "Killer Is Me (unplugged)"
Wu-Tang Clan - "Uzi"

Happy belated birthday. I saw a print of your avatar on the wall of a coffee shop in Portland this weekend (among several other images of animals in suits and hats).

The kidney stones are back. Pills are neat and all but seriously fuck this shit.

Oh good, maybe this will free up some time for that Zwan follow-up that no one ever wanted.

SPOILER: the villain is named Damien McSatan. (no not really)

The new album by The Haunted, Exit Wounds, came out in the US this week. I admit I am more of fan of the albums with Peter Dolving on vocals, but I'll take another album of Marco Aro screaming too.

I am finally embracing the concept of the growler. There's a new spot within walking distance of my house with 27 rotating brews on tap. Picking up my first growler tonight (most likely Georgetown Porter), and I look forward to checking out as many of these as possible. http://www.chillnfill.com/t…

Quite possibly the last shuffle from my slowly dying and occasionally rebooting iPod…

Well I don't see how that's going to help…oh bElls. Never mind.

Confession: at first glance I thought George R. R. Martin had shaved his head and beard. Now that I've read the article I feel like a bit of a shmuck.

Maybe one day he'll make a documentary about Gary and Melissa, who loved to make love, loved to make love, loved to make love to each other over and over and over again.

For a second I thought maybe they screened The Devil's Rejects because the Ramones' "Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue" showed up on the soundtrack, but that was House of 1,000 Corpses. Still, any excuse to re-watch Rejects is fine by me.

Negativland show this Friday, which seems a touch ironic.
