Tonight we're gonna party like it's…

mclusky - "Clique Application Form"
NOFX - "Fermented and Flailing"
Ben Folds - "Not The Same"
Rage Against The Machine - "Year Of Tha Boomerang"
Fantomas & Melvins - "White Men Are The Vermin Of The Earth (live)"

The Robin Williams "tribute" was just freaking weird, like the show's producers wanted to do something meaningful but ran out of time. Not really the forum for a tribute to Williams anyway. Sure, he was in the "Don't Worry, Be Happy" video…in 1988…but has he been in any other music videos, before or since?

Just about everything has been going really well in the gardens for the past few weeks. Lately we are getting a borderline ridiculous amount of…

Sleep - "Jerusalem (pt.2)"
Henry Rollins - "What I Am" (skipped)
Augustus Pablo - "Upfull Living"
The Residents - "The Gingerbread Man Concentrate"
Ani DiFranco - "Animal"
Lewis Black - "My Dad's Painting" (skipped)
Francois Bayle - "Rosace 3" (from Ohm: The Early Gurus of Electronic Music)

As long as at least one character requires a fat suit, I'm in.

VNV Nation is opening for Skinny Puppy in November. Hadn't heard them before but will probably go to the show based more on what I heard of them via Youtube than SP's recent output.

I can respect that.

NOFX - "Beer Bong"
Suede - "My Insatiable One"
The Who - "I'm Free"
George Carlin - "Good Ideas" (skipped)
They Eat Their Own - "Like A Drug"
Muslimgauze - "Red Crescent (pt 1)"

All right there Broflovski.

A DVD of Cool Runnings! Murder She Wrote!

I liked From Beer to Eternity well enough. PLUS Al's releasing remixes every Monday on Pirate Bay and linking to the torrents on facebook, which I kind of love.

Oh all right…

I can still get down with the Sonic Youth catalog. It was a better time, and they made better music together than apart.

Yeah…that record did not help.

Try not to think too hard about it. You're clearly the better person.

HAHAHAHAHAHA yes I'm old and lame.

I don't like THIS artist because he cheated on THAT partner and killed one of my favorite bands of all time in the process. I didn't say it was logical.

This is one of those situations where I'm having a really hard time separating the artist from the art. As such I'll probably skip this.

Yeah, we've been keeping an eye on Craigslist and the local pawn shops…so who knows, maybe we'll get lucky. We're definitely getting down with some clockwise cleaning this weekend. Oh, and we have a dog…but she's just a wee English cocker spaniel. Pretty sure she slept through the whole thing.
