I've successfully avoided checking walkthroughs and the like so I'm not sure how far I am in the story.  I just finished the bit at the radio tower - it's Fall now.

I'll be at that Portland show - it's the day after my girlfriend's birthday, and she is a Pearl Jam fanatic, complete with poorly-thought-out tattoo from college.  Easiest birthday gift shopping ever.

I actually called the office today to check on that - they did assign a backup, but my lab work had to be sent to an external lab for analysis, and the results just haven't come back yet.

At least you're both still willing to try at this point.  If it's fixable, here's hoping for a speedy, strong fix.  If not, here's hoping the counseling makes the split go a bit smoother (as it did in my case several years back, though we weren't legally married).

At this point, apart from the occasional twinge of pain in the area of either kidney (which I'm never 100% sure is actually kidney pain - some of it is probably just standard issue lower back muscular pain), I'm feeling tip-top most of the time.  More good signs.  :-)
