I think it's kinda like Santa Claus.  Even little kids know that shit can't be real but they enjoy believing.  I guess you could say that about just about any religion too.

Bleaker than the ending of The Mist?  That movie treated poor Thomas Jane like Ziggy!

I disagree with this review.  I thought it was really funny, light comedy.  The monsters were well acted especially Sandler as Dracula.  Yes, the zing part is silly, but it's a movie for kids.  The pop culture references alternated between irritating and funny.  I'd give a solid B, as good as How to Train Your Dragon,

Quicksilver is actually quite boring and has very little to do with the second two books.  The second two books are great adventure stories set in a very interesting time period and are worth reading.

You're wrong Crazy Ivan, Sideways was better. The rest of those movies except for Downfall are completely forgettable.

Also the Dancing Hamster song is from Robin Hood.  I agree that the songs (by Roger fucking Miller!) were all great.

What about the scene where Medusa tells her she is too ugly to ever be adopted or loved by anyone?  I get choked up just thinking about it.
