oh bs - Maron's show is a success because he is a charming and sympathetic interviewer and an all around decent and humble guy. He knows he got lucky and he works harder (two shows a week for two years) than anyone else out there to keep his good thing going.

Why? I dug that episode. I'd like to hear more of Maron interviewing the legions of comedy vets who wandered off the path. Granted, Graham is mentally ill and pretty loathsome character besides, but it made for a nice break from the standard "and then how did you get the big movie break?" garbage.

ok SO - PODFTOMPCAST AND BEST SHOW! What is the story with the feud between Scharpling and PFT? Does anyone have the real story here? They were smitten with each other and now they won't so much as speak the other's name. There must have been a some profound treachery to warrant such a complete falling out.  What

Some kind of double dealing must have transpired. It is one thing to back away from a project. It seems Tom is now refusing to acknowledge PFT's very existence - last Best Show a caller asked him to do an impression of Paul and he dumped the call without comment.

PFT's guest spots on The Best Show were the program's most memorable moments in the last couple of years. A few months back something went wrong and now they
