I thought this week's episode was moreover about the often violent power that men often wield over women, and the ways in which women fall prey to it or respond to it. It was in almost every scene, including the great speech by Ginsberg about Cinderella being stalked by two men in a dark alley.
i guess in retrospect it would have been nice to see more of the freaks. but at the same time i respect that the creators had a very definite, paced-out vision for their show, and maybe didn't want to 'cheapen' it by turning it into a spectacle for freaks. they provide good backdrop and help to flesh out the…
