Fully agree with American Beauty. I can see where its haters are coming from, but overall it's a pretty solid movie.

I was about to make a similarly pitiful post about how my appalling lack of experience with cinema led me to see only a handful (9, to be exact) of these movies. I guess we should have a massive catching-up marathon sometime!

Is it exaggeration to call the NPs (and to a lesser degree, Carl's solo stuff) the greatest, most creative and universally likable pop in the past few decades?

This is just another example of why this show is sometimes too ambitious for just an 11-minute slot. It builds up epic stories that can't be contained in that short time, like the aborted plotlines in this episode, which weakened it slightly.

Like the folks above, I somehow found the time and obsessiveness to watch it from the pilot. Many of the first season episodes are actually fairly strong (even in retrospect), but it was with "It Came From the Nightosphere" that I knew this show was going to be some transcendent stuff.

It's wonderful how this show is getting very good at working in lots of interesting character details and offbeat humor while still maintaining somewhat complex plots. Although this episode's plot was too linear to count as "robust", that gave the writers wiggle room to include such magnificent scenes as the fire

If they manage to nail that tone for a whole movie (T&E being themselves, and the director totally doesn't understand what to make of it), this could actually be sort of interesting.

Oh shucks, I just googled all over myself. And these jeans were new, too!

Why thank you!
And that's not the half of it. On the title screen, I believe the letters in "fuck" all change place randomly, making a large permutation of alternate titles. I just call it "Time Fuck".
As far as I can tell at this resolution, your avatar seems to be showing Mary from Silent Hill 2. So I like your

No, not Yes! The Who!

No, not Yes! The Who!

THANK YOU. I had the strongest intuition that that voice had to be Paul.
