That's why I LIKE squick. :) It makes me feel exactly what it describes. It SOUNDS like a noise that something slimy & disgusting would make.

" The latter is a turn of phrase that reflects a sensibility I find
annoying, one that reaches for a more precious way of describing
something there's already an accurate word for."
Don't do what Dreamy don't does.
It was not.
Don't remember where I read it, but I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed that he's leaving the show. Donno any details as to if it's happening during the season or what though.
The Scorpio episode is better, but Jacques has better lines. Half a dozen of one, six of your mother.

"We like Roy!" is part of my regular usage whenever someone's misheard something. For whatever reason, it's one of my favorite bits from the show.

Haven't watched much Simpsons lately and as soon as she continued on after the funny, "Chicken Pete Pie" line, I remembered why. We can go on and on (and we always do) about why it is that the show isn't as good as it used to be, but it comes down to the fact that the writers don't respect their audience any longer. …
Seriously, if you don't like anything in that list, what the hell are you reading?
CBG, especially from the start of Don & Maggie's run, was a wonderful thing. The "Oh So?" letter column was a precursor of internet discussion forums, with ongoing back and forth between artists, writers, dealers and fans. You really didn't see anything like that anywhere else. I remember reading my first issues…
Hey, I'm just happy when Rabin can get through an article, ANY article, without mentioning how damn awesome Kanye West is.
We didn't have one in elementary/middle school. I was in the "accelerated" track in junior high and then basically the same thing in high school, taking AP classes and such. I was part of the "Gifted Student's Club" in high school, which was an invite only deal where you had to be nominated by a teacher. I didn't do…
Since I live to be pedantic, I must point out that it's "tide me over."
I'm not really watching anything else dramatic on either network or basic cable. Is there hot chick ass just roaming around onscreen regularly these days? Last I heard of it, Dennis Franz was the only one getting nude screentime.
I believe that what he meant was he spent the rest of the show thinking mostly about that ass instead of whatever else was going on.
Yeah, you're definitely not alone. I think that Oswalt is a mistake for this part. Perhaps if we didn't already know him as "Patton Oswalt, comedian" or if the part itself wasn't comedic, it'd work. But as it stands I don't think we're going to be able to see past the actor to the character.
"Also, the big, upturned eyes recall both Cosette and "POV BJ" porn."
Do trains even need drivers anymore?
