Agreed, it's gorgeously shot. And it's improved technically. I noticed the corners of the frames were distorted badly in many sequences throughout No Reservations. That and the undercranking effects make me think he's got a better hi-def camera.

I put in a comment on that thread, but it was too little too late.
The impression I got was that Bourdain sought a "safe harbor" for No Reservations. Judging by tonight's premiere, he found it at CNN.
