One thing that I absolutely adored in this episode, that this review doesn't go into, is how Joan stayed one step ahead of Sherlock and realised he was trying to protect her by deceiving her. And she says no thank you to that, she will make her OWN decisions, she will reclaim her agency, and she won't let Sherlock

Really? I found this episode a bit disappointing - certainly not worthy of an A. The structure of it seemed terrible, a lot of apparently plot important things were completely abandoned or didn't make sense - like every character introduced at the beginning who then suddenly disppeared and were never thought of again?
