It might be good that you started so late - you can go back and watch the oldest episodes with more appreciation of what's to come. I wasn't super invested the first half of the first season, but once they let go of the whole "this is a show starring Zooey Deschanel," it really picked up steam.

And, Busy is godmother to Michelle's daughter. It always makes me really happy to see Busy as Michelle's date to awards shows - I feel like it shows her humility or something.

I have to say, this is probably my least favorite Happy Endings yet. I thought Casey Wilson was kind of cartoonish and deserves better, and Damon Wayans wasn't out of character, but their pairing could have been funnier.

Oh man, WG definitely was awesome. I miss the days of anyone smiling, at all. Juice and Chibbs used to be somewhat humorous! Now, they are either trying to kill themselves or trying to figure out if Jax is crazy or not. (Or both.)

I cannot see how they will make it as funny once they do eventually get together. They have such great friend/roommate chemistry that I worry it will be completely gone when there's no "will they-won't they" tension between them.
