I don't feel like Limehouse has had enough of a story to NOT be back next season. I think Quarles will die gloriously, but unless Limehouse has something up his sleeve for the next three episodes, I can see him being around next season. Which could be fun.

I'm so glad Big Joe didn't die in Jules' "mature reaction" to the paternity test.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Lori's reaction was a bit much. I wish Rick had turned on her and asked her what the hell her deal was when she was the one who suggested he do it in the first place. I personally don't agree with Zack's characterization of Rick's reaction either. I feel like he needed to lose

Grayson's face when Jules explains how much Bobby hurt her was amazing. I know they're actors, and its their job.. but COME ON (said in Andy voice, not GOB voice).

I just ordered HBO last week so I could watch GoT on time, as well as True Blood.

And, this seems to be a total turnaround from his reaction to Sybil and Branson. Yes, Branson "seduced" his daughter and is/was only a chauffeur, but still, Branson certainly didn't defile Sybil before they got married.

I think we'll definitely see more Branson/Lord Grantham conflict in Season 3, if they deal with anything to do with the Troubles between Britain and Northern Ireland in the 20s. Sybil will have to come over for the wedding, and of course bring the bay-bee with her.

Completely agree re: the grating couples thing. I know she's great and zany as a single girl, but I feel like they need to give Penny someone to actually keep around for a while. More so for Penny than Max, as we've never seen Max REALLY try to date anyone since the first season, and Penny just seems to go through a

I was REALLY excited when I read this, and will probably spend the rest of my day looking at the mashups. I never realized how similar Tammy Taylor and Leslie Knope could be until just now. Thanks AV Club!

I'm glad I missed this episode now that I see @avclub-27df6a4f2d57c438e88f3918de84e2f6:disqus 's recap. I'll be catching up later, but it doesn't sound like I missed a super important episode like last weeks.

I don't think I can describe how amazing Boyd is in the scene at Johnny's old bar. The writing is great and all, but his delivery is just unbelievable.

It kind of surprises me that they are even that close because Cora seems to be one of the more uppity of the show - I think its where Mary gets it, or got it. O'Brien is extremely unrefined, and I doubt she came into service with much polish. She would never have been as sweet as Daisy, and I would imagine she'd have

I'm still baffled as to Cora's treatment/respect/believing of O'Brien. She totally sees how horrible and vindictive O'Brien is, so why does she trust her? I mean, COME ON.

It was also interesting that as soon as Lord Grantham looked at him, he was the only one who immediately knew he wasn't right. To be fair, Lang was shaking, and those beside him probably noticed and just wanted to get the farewell over with, and then deal with him.

Agreed, re: Mary assessing Lavinia on her own. Its quite a change from last season when she was just doing whatever she needed to do to secure her place and a good marriage. For, as we all know, a single man in possession of good fortune MUST be in want of a wife.

I want to know what happens to Lang. I'm very worried about him and want to make sure he's okay. I get that Carson had to let him go, but I wish Lord Grantham had made sure he had a safe place to go.

I agree. I'm enjoying seeing Mary be a bit calmer this season and less conniving. I also like that she didn't let Aunt Rosamaunde push Lavinia.

I think I'm still experiencing some palpitations from The Flower Incident. I did like how Violet mentioned Molesley's mother in Episode One/Two last week, too.

I'm ready for an all-out brawl between Isobel and Cora. Thomas might throw his hat in that ring too.

"We can pickle that" is the new "Put a bird on it!"
