Agreed about Max being Carolyn's call. It could have been like with Kass, and them letting the flipper make the call.

There was only one set of footprints near it tho.
If this were a more cutthroat tribe, I could see that being the play.
I think it says more about the nature of social dynamics: one of the easiest ways to create bonds among people is us vs them. Max and Shirin set themselves up as them, and thus every little annoying thing they did (and everyone does annoying things on Survivor) became another thing to add to the pile and bond over.…
Wow. Really didn't expect Rodney to be the cast member to create fake accounts with which to defend himself online.
Fiji is definitely worth watching. But I'm not sure I could find a harsher contrast if you found this refreshing because of the people.
That's a good point.
If you wish.
I think that's fair. And why I didn't want to set up any criteria for voting (that we could never enforce anyway). My issue has always been that Chris is no better a PLAYER as Danni, yet gets far more credit. But if your take is "I enjoyed watching him more", I've got no issue with that. Danni was largely a cipher…
This is why wrestlers cut themselves along the forehead.
One thing about Shirin's gendered comments about her nudity: did that really play out? It seems as though Max was equally ostracized and in part because of the nudity and attendant behaviours. Maybe the WAY it was talked about had to do with her being a woman (and a less conventionally attractive woman at that), but I…
3) Max getting the Robb stingray treatment.
4) Kelly the cop being the only member of a brawny tribe shuffled over to the other side, where she is positioned as a swing vote.
Rodney's mom has gotten more run this season than Kelly or Sierra.
It took me until ten minutes after the episode ended to remember that I had Max in this thing. That's how invested I am.
I'm never going to actually check, but it seems like whenever there's a double boot episode, someone loses both players. (Or maybe it just happened that other time with me, and thus I think it's common).
Tough, but fair.
Or just getting rid of Carolyn/Kelly, who have outlived their usefulness.
There's a good chance that she doomed herself more with the whole "did your god start that fire Mike" from last week than she did this week by standing up to Rodney. Or maybe all the times she laughed in Dan's face. Turns out, sometimes you need people in this game and it's not always when you think you will.
Well, if you called it, then it must be true! If anyone has had a handle on this season, it's you.
Liked for "dude was like a sentient Reddit".
