For the second year in a row, I'm the last team to have two players not voted out! And I did it both times with mid-to-late round selections. I am the Moneyball player of fantasy Survivor.

To form the same two person against three alliance that her mom will probably form with Hayden (after Ciera gives her the lay of the land). Only in this scenario, you'll be competing for immunity at final five with two people who could win (Laura and Hayden) instead of one (Laura).
Yeah, I realized that while editing. Made another mistake tonight. We need an instant fact-checker like at debates.
I think the counter is that at a certain point on the island, diarrhea is just a way of life. So you may as well earn it.
Probably tighter than Monica was her thinking.
Yes, but Hayden is a better shot at winning immunity (in that he is an actual shot at winning immunity). The last thing a three person alliance wants is for the fourth person to win that F4 immunity. I'm not sure if you've noticed, but Ciera is not exactly a challenge threat. Or presence at all.
Brenda was a pretty extreme case of invisibility though. Hayden has been ever-present, just not a featured player.
It was in the episode.
If Ciera was in Tyson's final three, then Tyson would've changed his vote to Monica. She wasn't, so he didn't.
I don't know that the hidden idol does protect you from rocks. Regular immunity means that people can't vote for you. Hidden immunity only negates votes cast. No votes were cast for Tyson, so the idol's work was done at that point.
Some do. Players like Russell and Penner have explicitly come out in interviews saying that you need to pay attention to what the cameras are doing. If you are hunting somewhere and the crew leaves you, then you're in the wrong space. If you're hunting elsewhere and they won't leave, bingo.
This was undoubtedly the moment. Probst was saying that something happens that has only happened one other time. Which is the same thing the spoilered ads said.
There's Amanda in Micronesia, but that was all idol-based. Stephanie getting Janu to quit? Not really comparable though.
That wasn't a scramble though. It was Caleb changing his mind. He wasn't in danger at all.
THAT'S what I forgot to talk about. I thought that was a really bad move by Tyson. Until then, he'd done a good job in reigning in the dickishness. But he let it out then, which could cost him against the right competition. It was really unnecessary, since Katie never betrayed him.
So… when Christina Cha did nothing but try to hang on and hope the game shifted in her favour… that was the smart move?
Agreed. Interestingly, @JudgeReinhold:disqus and I already made this point on our podcast (we actually recorded on a Wednesday), so we weren't stealing your thought. But basically, tonight was Ciera's shot at creating a game she could win. Failure to act in most likelihood would've guaranteed a F4 spot. Which isn't…
Those players are already immune from playing the game the entire time they're out there. Giving them an extra immunity when they get back would only be more disastrous.
I found it both rude and a fairly astute observation on the fact that Katie was trying to remove herself from the game. Basically, the way Jeff did it was rude, but he was also kinda right.
What a shock. You scored something in favour of Tyson.
