The thing is, I understand why people on this thread find the concept to be ridiculous- there ARE fanfictions out there that are a bit strange, but I mean, at the end of the day- it's not hurting anybody, and people are being creative. But yeah, sorry for just assuming.

Sorry, my mistake!

This fanfiction has nothing to do with sex… I mean, they fall in love, but the raunchiest thing they do is kiss. Once.

It's not about satisfying the fantasies of the fandom, but if you want to pop open that can of worms, we can easily chat about the entertainment industry's ability to write storylines for "badass" women in skintight leather. Entertainment is all about people trying to satisfy their own fantasies.
But I've read this

Sherlock, Elementary, and the Guy Ritchie films are all essentially fanfictions…

It's interesting because it speaks to the age we live in- so many people meet online nowadays… and there's Her with Joaquin Phoenix. It's alternative in a ton of great ways. If you read the fanfic it's actually really well written.

There have been numerous adaptations made from Arthur Conan Doyle's works… to quote the author himself, ""You may marry him, murder him, or do anything you like to him."
