Mea culpa. You are correct, of course. It took me a second look to see that the picture was not that of Jimmy's dad, and that Jimmy and Gretchen, judging by how they are dressed, are just trolling around a cemetery. That actually makes sense for these characters.

What a cheat, The nurses weren't naked, they were still wearing their hats.

"You know, there's a reason they call it DOPE!"

Re: the promo for next week. I know this show seems to play fast and loose with timelines, but with all the delays in finding out there is no way in hell Jimmy and Gretchen would've made it to Jimmy's dad's funeral.

I like that Gretchen serves the what I'm guessing is a partially cut brie wheel (with crackers) that was sitting in her purse for god knows how long for her "party."

I agree with your point about BJ's. I don't know why it's assumed a dude has to be rock hard before this happens. Actually, it's kind of fun to be "fluffed to life."

Gretchen's joy was so wonderful and so sad at the same time. (Not mentioned: Cotton Candy Raccoon.)

I loved the line about not having footprints because she stepped on the grill at Benihana.

"Like when I was born dead I vividly remember the pain in the doctor's voice when he told my parents, 'I have good news and I have bad news. Good news: it's a boy, and he's hella-hung. Bad news: dude's dead.'"

I liked the opening scene, which shows that the "protests" have simply become and end in of themselves, and it's becoming almost stat based. In other words, the "national conversation" that has been started is about the protests themselves, because the thing is people can use the kneeling as a tabula rasa, something

That was actually the first time they revealed the sex of Becca and Vernon's baby (nothing was ever said explicitly in last season's finale). There was speculation they were having male/female twins (that was my guess at the time) but I guess not.

(snaps fingers) "You love secrets, secrets are you're favorite thing."

More Gretchen and Lindsay hanging out and being bitches, please:

That was a nice off kilter episode. I kind of like the runner of Gretchen just showing up where-ever her therapist is, and of course scarfing down her food. I liked Lindsay in this episode, actually trying to care about Paul and actually saying "I love you" and meaning it. I liked Paul, being only slightly pathetic

I think that's more about Gretchen thinking of what to do. You notice it looked like she was about to hug him, but balked at that and just decided to blow him, more as a distraction for her than for him I would imagine.

"You know how in Saint Bart's people be eating their lobster like this

The Adequate Four

That's a reasonable way to grade things. I believe an "F" should be reserved for films that are more than just highly incompetent but are reprehensible in some way.

True. Related to that is that I also think there has to be a degree of sympathy for the person in question, but the man has made a shit ton of money making junk (some of it likable, most of it not) the majority of his career I don't know who could actually feel bad for him.

"Let him just bounce it off you!!!"
