If you're going to quote something at least attribute it properly:

I thought it was because we couldn't agree on the amount of firmness for the new mattress. I have sciatica, damnit!

Speaking of Onion videos, remember this one? (Someone in one of the other Ghostbusters threads reminded me of it.) And it is fairly applicable to the film at hand:

I thought the exact same thing. It had to have been a little bit more involved than that, right? Petty is sort of known but not super-famous to the point that booking her on the show is a slam dunk, right? Or maybe not. Show biz is weird.

Well, you couldn't ask as much from any other man.

Even as a fan, I am so tired of fan service. More than pointless, the Murray bit was aggravating. Just be your own thing, for chrissakes.

I've read a bunch and what you say may very well be true to a certain extent, but there is really no way to prove it, and to be honest, it's probably a fruitless pursuit. As you said previously: time will tell.

Ha! That took me a minute, but I got it.

It would be amazing to see Debra Wilson in something. In anything for that matter.

Leslie Jones is long overdue for what? And as far as how she plays her character, that's her complete schtick. That's all she does.

That explains a lot. It's a damn shame, there was such potential there.

OK, OK. Even those with the stoniest of hearts can admit that was cute and funny.

And a good thing too, because the original show was, let me put it mildly, weak.

Petty was great, but it was a bit of a misfire. The script wasn't very good, and for all the money they spent ($25 mil in 1995) it looked really cheap. Even McDowell doing his bad guy thing just didn't seem to fit.
It's the kind of film you watch that you just so want to be better.

Most of it is Super 8 burned on DVD's. Very grainy. On the upside, my memories are getting Dolby surround next month.

Sorry about that. That's never happened before. Can I comment again in a couple hours?

Jiminy Jillikers!

My childhood memories are only in 2D, sadly. They aren't widescreen, either, and they are only in color after age 8.

Very much so. "Scott, if your life had a face I would punch it."

Well, at least it was series work, for which she was no doubt grateful. Glancing at her IMDB page, I see she's been plugging away, getting work on a fairly regular basis. (I've seen her in commercials from time to time to.) She's actually done a lot more voice work than I realized. Glad she's doing OK. I still will
