And a good thing too, because the original show was, let me put it mildly, weak.

Petty was great, but it was a bit of a misfire. The script wasn't very good, and for all the money they spent ($25 mil in 1995) it looked really cheap. Even McDowell doing his bad guy thing just didn't seem to fit.
It's the kind of film you watch that you just so want to be better.

Most of it is Super 8 burned on DVD's. Very grainy. On the upside, my memories are getting Dolby surround next month.

Well, at least it was series work, for which she was no doubt grateful. Glancing at her IMDB page, I see she's been plugging away, getting work on a fairly regular basis. (I've seen her in commercials from time to time to.) She's actually done a lot more voice work than I realized. Glad she's doing OK. I still will…
