I do like how the show gets all meta on occasion. In this episode we had Dorothy's line you mentioned (Lindsay's voice sounds like an actor-ish version of a grown woman's baby-voice) and then Gretchen's takedown of Dorothy:

Funny you mention that, because I was thinking that in the entire run of the show, Jimmy and Gretchen's sex life hasn't been much of an issue at all (I guess that was part of the premise of the show, i.e. they are good at fucking, but can they be together?) So I can definitely see this show eventually going there.

They did seem to be merely scratching the surface portraying her problem. It's nice that she got it out there, and the scenes with her and Lindsay then her and Jimmy were nicely done.

The meltdown was obviously well done, but she even nails small moments, like the way she said, "I know you. You're a theater girl," when she first met Dorothy.

Fucking amazing episode. Loved how Vernon was worked in there, especially. Gretchen's rant was epic, and Lindsay finally got a real genuine moment. Nice to be reminded that for all their fucked up antics there is still a deep friendship there.
