True. Just saw a clip of him recently from the "NY"-era mullet phase. Worst hairstyle ever by a major artist? That's a big claim, but yeah.

He had a few without sunglasses: "Berlin," "Coney Island Baby," etc. I thought the "New Sensations" cover was funny, at least.

Good point—although it loses points for unoriginality, "The Blue Mask" takes that great Mick Rock photo and does much better things with it. Another cover let down by questionable font choices, though.

Maybe somebody else has mentioned this (this thread goes on for awhile), but if not, I'm surprised: "1969 Velvet Underground Live." Yeesh. Maybe the most important album of my teenage years, but one that always got turned upside down, or better yet, stacked behind something else. And Uncle Lou had plenty of other…
