Like others have said, it never really happened but the show is aware of it and makes little nods to it or whatever. They're willing to go pretty far for fanservice but not too far.
(A well developed female character and any sort of man on man action being well in the "too far" category.)

if you're looking for the resolution, i totally agree. i was more referring to the instant happy i get from escaping into a single episode of something.

i actually agree about season 1 to some extent because the story is being told by two men and every aspect of that story is subject to our interpretation of the story/stories from their unique recollection. the fact that the women are used as props isn't surprising but it is kind of lazy.
