Being drunk helps me to read the reviews, for what that's worth.

"But she isn’t really Supernatural’s kind of heroine"
what the actual fuck?

Re: What if Dick Roman killing Bobby is really his eventual downfall?

"I would have been very disappointed if Dean didn't say something stupid."
A thousand times this.

"But exactly what will the writers do anyway? Make Bobby the last hunt of the season?"
This is what I'm afraid of.

Well he has been drinking pretty much non-stop since Bobby bit it so it wouldn't surprise me.

Also if we were going to make a list of stupid shit Dean has ever done I don't even think this would break the top 20.
I'm fairly certain he was saying that -because- he knew Bobby could hear him. I started to list examples of some of the shit Dean says in order to get the ones he loves to stop doing something he

Yeah, that was my thinking as well. To me it didn't come off as dickish but rather him wanting something better for Bobby.

I won't lie. I wanted to bump my grade up to an A because Dean took a shower in this episode.

Yeah, this is what I was hoping for as well. I also love the idea of him being Rumple's boy.

jerodast already said what I was going to say.

Same. The story is organized a lot like season 1 was imo.

Couldn't the same thing be said after they killed Dean in season 3? Or Sam in season 2? Killing off regulars or main characters and then bringing them back is like their thing.
But I agree. It's getting way old. Bobby is the final straw for me. I'd rather see one of the boys die again than watch them have to kill off

Yeah, it'll never be as good as it once was. In part because the newness has worn off. But I'm having so much fun with this season and I think the cast and crew are too, and it shows.

Agree! I've had some sort of subconscious crush on DJ Qualls ever since Road Trip. He instantly makes everything better imo.

Was that part of the deal with Crowley? Honestly, I barely remember the stuff that happened in season 6.

I loved the edits on that scene. So uncomfortably close.

But every season is like that. Big, important episodes alternated with MOTW episodes and then like 2 or 3 episodes related to the overall arc at the end of the season.
But overall I agree with you.

It was more of a B episode for me. It was exciting to see Bobby again and to have my ghost dad suspicions confirmed but I get the feeling the boys are going to have to hunt and kill ghost Bobby. Hey, it's not Supernatural unless you kill a beloved character twice(or more.)

It also pains me to see the Impala covered up. And then Sam refusing to take it? Ugh.
