I agree about the subplots.
The ensemble feel of the show is nice and all but it wouldn't kill them to leave a character or storyline out of an episode from time to time.
Jason's storyline is moving so incredibly slow, there's absolutely no reason to check in with him every single week. Same goes for Sam.

Hangnail, I disagree. I think the fairy stuff could have been dealt with in a better way.
The show is already fun and campy and yet it's able to deal with other supernatural creatures in a realistic way so why not fairies?

Kristin Bauer looks the same even in her modeling days from the early 90's so I'm not sure exactly why you think she's had a ton of plastic surgery.
