I agree on the re-watch, Eli.
Also imagine how awesome it's going to be to re-watch the series from the beginning after tonight's episode. I can't wait.

Excellent points, Michelle.
I do think that the Smoke monster is able to access the memories of the form he's taken. I like the idea of Jacob accidentally creating or unleashing this horrible entity, who immediately takes the form of his deceased brother and begins to torment him, while he spends a lifetime trying

Oh yeah the flashback(or is it technically a flashforward?) was worth it for that second of Locke.

I think you're confusing the real explanation for the light with the explanation Jacob's 'mother' gave. Meaning that her explanation for the light was similar to Ricardo's old world theories on Heaven and Hell and Good and Evil.

Oh, Unfathomable.

That flashback was just dreadful. It absolutely detracted from the emotion in that scene.

I'm with you on the magic island.
It's a magic island where people are immortal and where some people can talk to dead people and have their illnesses cured. I'm okay with them going vague on a lot of things.

Withholding the name was just hilarious to me.

I love you, Lone Audience.

lights
Isn't the glowy cave light connected to the other lights we've already encountered on the island? Like the light Ben saw when he turned the wheel and it's similar to the bright flashing lights Desmond brought on when he turned the key beneath the hatch.

I don't think the child actors were chosen for their wealth of talent. Not saying they were terrible but they seem to have been chosen for their striking resemblance to Jacob and MIB.
To me, poor line delivery is acceptable as long as the kids look the part.

I didn't think Lucifer was giving him such specific instructions but who knows. He could still be on a leash but still be able to pick and choose what town he destroys.
I just took the leash metaphor to mean that he was taken away from his primary job and put onto another, one that he didn't particularly feel like

If Lucifer gets put back in the box Death goes back to his day job, so to speak and he gets to lay off the horseman gig.

Crazy theories don't need a lot of lines of dialogue in order to be formed.
But there has been a lot of talk of MIB getting off the island or at least his supposed desire to do just that. It would be logical for one to start to make assumptions of what could or would happen should he make it off the island.

Barry, I got the impression that the full on Apocalypse couldn't really happen on the show until both boys said yes to their respective Angels.
There's a little bit of mayhem going down here and there courtesy of the horsemen and whatnot but things really start to get crazy once Michael and Lucifer throw down.

Ah, that's an interesting theory about Crowley using Bobby's soul as proof of his evilness.

Oh and giving them Death's weapon, the same weapon that started burning hot in Death's presence? Crowley's totally in bed with Death.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. It makes me worried about Crowley's motives.

Crowley
Yeah, I don't think he can be trusted. I'm worried for Bobby.
Really I just wanted first again.

I'm terribly late
working my way through the comments now..
Has anyone mentioned the idea that maybe Claire and Jack will take the place of Jacob and MIB? Both being siblings and having their father connected to the island in some way, as well.
Then there's that mirror shot of the two of them together in the AU.
